India vs Afghanistan Series Squad: Big Workload Decision on Jasprit Bumrah Revealed

Jasprit Bumrah will be able to play just one Test match or just one match in the three match ODI series against Afghanistan that will take place next month. Jasprit Bumrah has been playing consecutive matches for several months, owing to which his workload management is not being done effectively, leading to this decision taken by the BCCI.

The one-test match to be played against Afghanistan will not be considered in the World Cup WTC cycle. It will take place in Chandigarh from 6th to 10th June. Nevertheless, the three ODI matches are expected to be held in Dharamsala on 14th, in Lucknow on 17th, and in Chennai on 20th.

The fans look forward to these three ODIs since Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who will be participating in the matches, have retired from T20I and Test cricket and now only play one format.

Another name that will be highlighted during the squad announcement is that of Delhi bowler Prince Yadav. The performances of Prince in the last year were outstanding. Prince claimed 17 wickets in eight matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
